Please contact my office directly with any specific billing questions.
The only insurance I currently work with is Blue Cross. While I am able to bill all BC plans directly, its important for you to know that all BC State plans are different, as is the amount of coverage they are willing to provide for testing. I recommend that you contact your individual plan before testing to find out how much they are willing to authorize.
Some BC plans require preauthorization and may cap the hours allowed for testing, which means that you may end up paying some fees out of pocket for a complete assessment.
With some BC plans, a referral is required from your doctor to get authorization for testing. Please have your PCP fax referrals to my attention: 510-288-0444.
All Other Insurances
I am happy to provide a superbill at the end of the assessment so that you can seek reimbursement from your insurance carrier.
